Thank you to all who attended the Joshua Assembly on May 16th!!! It was great to celebrate so many accomplishments and to hear from so many inspiring leaders and teams.

We are excited about continuing our affordable housing and criminal justice work to drive more community impact in the year ahead! On that note, our Affordable Housing team has received the latest statistics about the state of homelessness in our area.

And thanks to your generosity we kicked off our investment campaign like a mighty STREAM - with a new fundraising record!!! We appreciate your investment and commitment to building our “people power” and organization.

Thanks to all who attended the April 19 County Commissioners’ workday on homelessness and affordable housing.

STREAM member Oswald Reid reiterated the need for housing units affordable at < 80% of AMI.

See one or two of several articles summarizing the meeting.

Thank you to everyone who joined the Nehemiah Action on April 4th!

  • Our first-ever Nehemiah Action was a historic AND successful event. Check out this article to see what our local media covering the event had to say!

  • Nearly 600 community members attended and the elected officials agreed to our proposals!

    • Law enforcement said YES to supporting a pre-arrest adult diversion program for nonviolent misdemeanor offenses.

    • County Commissioner Kruse said YES to developing an ongoing affordable housing plan for those most in need.

  • We got energized to continue our work and mobilize for our Joshua Assembly on Monday, May 16th, where we will celebrate our success and look forward to the work ahead.
