Be part of a Mighty Stream...

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”

— African Proverb

Why STREAM?

Non-Partisan/Non-Political

We do not engage in political activities per our IRS 501(c) charter. We do not endorse, fund, or otherwise support political parties or candidates.

Focus on Critical Problems

We focus on issues that affect us all - and thus are popular, unifying, and winnable. We are currently working on affordable housing/homelessness and criminal justice reform.

Independent

We are not a special interest group and are not funded by any special interest group(s).

Universal Values

We believe that loving your neighbor as yourself means standing up and taking action to provide justice and fairness for all of our neighbors.

Diverse

Our members provide a broad spectrum of economic, racial, ethnic, and spiritual perspectives and experience.

Direct, Proven Approaches

We focus on data-driven, pragmatic solutions that directly address root causes and provide solutions (vs. charitable or other Band-Aids).

“There are a thousand hacking at the branches of evil to one who is striking at the root.”

— Henry David Thoreau
